Kayla is a passionate advocate for women's health and reproduction, particularly following an inspirational class, The Evolution of Human Reproduction, in college.
Kayla graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Appalachian State University. She was a volunteer in the Labor & Delivery Department of Watauga Medical Center before completing her DONA International Birth Doula training in Washington D.C. in 2016.
Kayla embraces her sensitivity, empathy, and thirst for knowledge to support and empower women. Her main focus and priority is to empower women to achieve their own unique birth goals and experience.
When not pursuing her passion as a birth doula, Kayla is a mom to two crazy wonderful dog children and works as a Business Relationship Manager at a local tech company. She enjoys reading, yoga, going to the beach, and eating as much delicious food as possible with her husband, Aaron.
